Master of Speech Language Therapy Practice

Art is not a language we are born with, and it takes time and patience to master. However, it is a skill that allows us to express ourselves (and understand others) in meaningful ways. A childhood passion for painting gave me a deep appreciation for communication and a desire to help others express themselves.

This led at first to the animation industry. I spent 9 years working as a storyboarder and background artist, both roles that involve understanding and communicating the visions and stories of others.

Now this desire has inspired me to retrain as a speech-language therapist. Effective communication is a vital skill, but not one everyone is born with, and it takes time and patience to master. I hope that my career as a visual storyteller will allow me to help those who struggle with communication to develop the skills to tell their own stories.
