Bachelor of Laws (Honours) | Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Business Analytics)

The law lags behind the rapid advancements in technology, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI). As someone deeply passionate about the intersection of law and technology, I am dedicated to exploring how we can harness the power of AI to drive productivity and economic growth in New Zealand while safeguarding against its potential risks.

AI is evolving at an exponential rate, often outpacing the systems designed to regulate it. My interest lies in developing and advocating for effective legal frameworks that promote innovation while keeping us safe. This involves ensuring that AI technologies are used responsibly to avoid further marginalization of disadvantaged communities while promoting and upholding Maori Data sovereignty.

I believe in the potential of interdisciplinary leadership and collaborative efforts to bridge the gap between technological advancement and regulatory oversight. My goal is to contribute to shaping policies that balance innovation with ethical considerations, ensuring that AI benefits everyone in our society.
